December 30, 2014 - 2012 Sea Doo Challenger stolen from Storage in Kamloops, BC
On December 30, 2014 a white and blue 21-foot Sea Doo Challenger was stolen from a storage compound on Salish Road in Kamloops, BC. October 26, 2014 - 2007 Mastercraft X-Star with trailer stolen from Pitt Meadows, BC
In the early morning hours (between 0200 and 1050) of October 26, 2014 a 2007 Mastercraft X-Star with matching Mastercraft trailer was stolen from Pitt Meadows, BC. This vessel is red and white in colour. October 26, 2014 - Paddle Board found adrift in English Bay, Vancouver, BC
On Sunday October 26th 2014 at 5:30 pm, the Vancouver Police Marine Unit was alerted to a report of a possible person in distress in waters off Spanish Banks in English Bay. At 5:40 pm members located a “STARBOARD” Inflatable model Paddle Board adrift in the heavy swells. An exhaustive search by the Canadian Coast Guard, Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue and the VPD Marine Unit was unable to locate anything further. Police are requesting assistance identifying the recovered paddle board and request that persons contact 911 immediately if they believe they may have knowledge of anyone who may have run into peril in connection to this event.

October 16, 2014 - Two Abandoned tenders found in False Creek, Vancouver, BC
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is reminding owners of moored vessels in the Vancouver area of an ongoing issue of the theft of tenders and auxiliary engines. Further, it appears tenders are being utilized by suspects to enter marinas and vessels at anchor, to break into vessels. The unit recovered two abandoned vessels, October 13th and 15th , and are asking for assistance in identifying them.
1) October 13th – Delphin Inflatable white and blue. Located abandoned south side False Creek, east of the Cambie Bridge.
2) October 15th – Plastic 6 foot cathedral hull dinghy abandoned on shoreline between Kits and Jericho. Make unknown. “OK BOAT” in black letters on sides.

October 6, 2014 - 2009 Zodiac with trailer stolen from Vancouver, BC
In the early morning hours of October 5, 2014 a 17-foot 2009 Zodiac on EZ Loader trailer was stolen from the 3800 block of West 23rd Ave in Vancouver, BC. This vessel is grey with a Royal Blue canvas 6-foot Tee Top, and is equipped with a 90hp Suzuki outboard motor. October 4, 2014 - Bombard Explorer with Aluminum handcart stolen from Jericho Sailing Club, Vancouver, BC
Between October 1-3, 2014 a 12-foot Grey Bombard Explorer (2000-2009 model) on an aluminum hand cart was stolen from the Jericho Sailing Club in Vancouver, BC. Both the vessel and trailer have "Mac Sailing" stickers, and the vessel is equipped with a 9.9hp Hidea outboard motor. October 1, 2014 - Custom Built Command Bridge Vessel with trailer stolen from Abbotsford, BC
On October 1, 2014 at approximately 1:00pm a 24' custom built command bridge vessel (Sea Sport style) with trailer was stolen from McCallum Road in Abbotsford. This vessel is of playwood construction with fibreglass over, white in colour with a black command bridge enclosure (folded down at the time of the theft). The vessel is fitted with a Mercruiser 228 inboard/outboard and is on a 1971 EZ Loader trailer. September 25, 2014 - 1992 ITM Industries Aluminum vessel stolen while anchored of Thormanby Island
Between September 23 and September 24 a 1992 ITM Industries Aluminum vessel was stolen while anchored off Thormanby Island (Sechelt area). This vessel is equipped with a 115jp Mercury outboard.

September 13, 2014 - 1999 Woolridge Aluminum Jet Drive with trailer stolen from Maple Ridge
On September 13, 2014 a black 1999 Woolridge Aluminum Jet Drive boat on EZ Loader trailer was stolen from outside the owner's residence in Maple Ridge, BC. September 9, 2014 - 2011 Lowe Aluminum with trailer stolen from RV Storage in Agassiz, BC
On or about September 9, 2014 a 14' 2011 Lowe Aluminum with single-axel Karavan trailer was stolen from an RV Storage facility near Agassiz, BC. This aluminum vessel is equiped with a 35hp Tohatsu outboard engine. Setpember 7, 2014 - 2006 Custom boat with trailer stolen roadside in Birch Bay
Overnight on September 6 a 17-foot Custom built vessel with Road Runner trailer was stolen from outside the owners residence in Birch Bay. It is possible there is skeg damage as there are signs it was dragged across the tarmac. August 24, 2014 - Two Necky Kayaks stolen from Lasqueti Island
On August 24, 2014 two Necky Arluk III kayaks were stolen from a beach on Lasqueti Island. Both vessels are 18-foot singles - one yellow with a white hull and the other grey with a white hull. August 17, 2014 - 1978 Century found adrift near in Lower Pitt River, BC
Department of Fisheries and Oceans officers working in conjunction with the RCMP Coquitlam Rural Policing Unit are attempting to identify a 1978 Century that was located in the Lower Pitt River area in the Maple Ridge – Coquitlam region. August 14, 2014 - 2001 Zodiac Zoom found adrift off Jericho Beach, Vancouver, BC
On 2014 08 14 Canadian Coast Guard 506 retrieved a vessel adrift approximately 600 feet off Jericho Beach. The Vessel was subsequently seized by the Vancouver Police Marine Unit for identification. The vessel is a 2001 Zodiac Zoom 11 foot inflatable equipped with a 15 hp Honda outboard. Please contact PC Dave Horne if you can assist in this matter. VPD File 2014-143457
August 12, 2014 - 2009 Chaparral Sunesta with trailer stolen from Calgary, Alberta
Between August 8 and 11, 2014 a 2009 Chaparral Sunesta 264 with white 2008 Extreme trailer was stolen from the 2500 Block of 26 Street NE in Calgary, Alberta. This vessel is red, white and black. August 14, 2014 - Bayliner recovered in Gunderson Slough near Surrey-Delta, BC
On July 20th 2014, Marine Security Unit members of the Canada Border Services Agency located a stolen Bayliner abandoned in Gunderson Slough in the Surrey- Delta area. The Delta Police Department attended and identified the vessel as being stolen from a Ladner area marina on the Fraser River. The file is still under investigation.
August 9, 2014 - 2010 Four Winns with trailer stolen from Maple Ridge, BC
Between August 8 and 9, 2014 a white and blue 2010 Four Winns with matching trailer was stolen from the 21800 Block of Wicklow Way in Maple Ridge, BC. August 2, 2014 - Crownline with trailer stolen from Maple Ridge, BC
Around 2pm on August 2, 2014 a 2003 Crownline 215 with Metalcraft trailer was stolen from Maple Ridge, BC. This vessel is white with red stripes, and equipped with a 5.7L Mercury inboard (serial number 0M634148). August 1, 2014 - 2011 Aquamarine lost near Gulf Islands, BC
On August 1st 2014, an 8 foot Aquamarine inflatable was being towed behind a sailboat transiting from False Creek toward the Gulf Islands. Approximately an hour past Point Grey, the owners noticed that the tender had been lost. The vessel is named "Chicken Nugget" with "Ohana" and a turtle motif on either side of the bow. July 14, 2014 - 2008 Bayliner 195 Bowrider with trailer stolen from Hatzic Lake near Mission, BC
On or about July 12, 2014 a 19' 2008 Bayliner 195 Bowrider with single-axel Karavan trailer was stolen from Hatzic Lake near Mission, BC. This vessel has a black hull with white bottom, deck and striping and is equiped with a 4.3L Mercruiser engine. July 14, 2014 - 2008 Mastercraft stolen from Surrey is recovered with trailer
On July 1st, 2014, members of the Vancouver Police Auto Crime Enforcement Unit, with support of both the K-9 and patrol divisions, seized a MasterCraft X14. The vessel was later identified by the VPD Marine Unit as a 2008 MasterCraft X14 stolen from Surrey in 2010. The vessel had been repainted white and had been licensed using a fraudulent Hull Identification Number. The investigation is ongoing.

July 8, 2014 - 2004 Regal with trailer stolen from Spring Street in Port Moody, BC
Between June 30 and July 5, 2014 a 27-foot 2004 Regal with Karavan trailer was stolen from Spring Street in Port Moody, BC. This vessel is equiped with a 350hp Volvo inboard/outboard motor. May 25, 2014 - Two kayaks found adrift in Burrard Inlet
On May 25th 2014 at approximately 4:30 am, two Pelican Pursuit X80 kayaks were located adrift in Burrard Inlet in the Port Moody area of Burrard Inlet. The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is requesting assistance in identifying the two craft. Please contact Cst. Michael Thrower. VPD File 2014-87773
April 23, 2014 - Mastercraft X-15 with trailer recovered by Calgary Police Service
Calgary Police Service Auto Theft Unit members recently inspected a 2007 Mastercraft X15. The HIN on the vessel was covered and the VIN on the trailer had been removed. Investigators determined the HIN was counterfeit. With the assistance of the manufacturer, investigators were able to identify the vessel and trailer as being originally reported stolen in 2010 from High River Alberta. The vessel appears to have been resold and subsequently reported stolen again in October of 2013. The vessel was originally black and yellow. April 12, 2014 - Boston Whaler found near sunset beach, Vancouver, BC
On April 12th 2014, a 15 foot Boston Whaler washed ashore at Sunset Beach in False Creek, Vancouver. At the time, the area was receiving 20-25 knot north westerly winds. The vessel appears to have been being used to salvage copper pipe and wire. A Stihl chainsaw was also located on the vessel. The vessel was equipped with an older Johnson 60 hp outboard and a Mercury 9.9 hp outboard. Both engines were located mounted to the transom with their cowlings removed. It appeared parts were being swapped between the engines. The information associated to vessel license 13K73560 does not appear to be current. All lines were secured on the vessel, showing no sign of the vessel breaking free from or being untied from its mooring. April 4, 2014 - Wave Sport Kayak stolen from Spyglass Wharf (False Creek), Vancouver, BC
Between noon on April 3, 2014 and 0100 on April 4, 2014 a bright green 8-foot Wave Sport Mutant Kayak was stolen from the Spyglass Wharf in False Creek, Vancouver. March 26, 2014 - 2008 Lund stolen from North Vancouver is recovered on Fraser River
On March 26th, 2014, Department of Fisheries and Oceans officers, from the Langley BC Detachment, were patrolling the Fraser River near New Westminster when they observed a 14 foot Lund tied to the shore between the booms and shoreline. The officers recognized the vessel as the possible stolen featured on a Stolen Boats Canada bulletin they had received. Officers Clattenburg, McCrae, Klassen and Aitken secured the vessel and confirmed it to be the 2008 Lund that had been stolen from North Vancouver in early March. The vessel was seized and secured for further investigation with the assistance of the Coquitlam RCMP.

March 26, 2014 - 2011 Outlaw Lynx is recovered in Edmonton, Alberta
The 2011 Outlaw Lynx reported stolen in January 2014 has been recovered “chopped up” in northern Alberta. The remains of the vessel and trailer were identified with the assistance of Outlaw Eagle. The 2011 350 hp Kodiak Jetdrive, serial Number 68667122710, remains outstanding. If you are able to assist with any information regarding this incident, please contact Cpl. March 4, 2014 - 2003 Mastercraft X-Star stolen in Kelowna, BC
The Kelowna RCMP request assistance in locating a 2003 Mastercraft X-Star with Indmar 350hp motor stolen on March 3, 2014. The vessel is black with grey and red accents. February 12, 2014 - 2013 Harbercraft with trailer stolen from Gibbons Alberta is recovered in Grande Prairie, Alberta
The Edmonton Police Auto Theft Unit has identified a 2013 Harbercraft Extreme and its EZ Loader trailer that had been stolen from Gibbons Alberta in April 2013. Investigators located the boat and trailer during a search warrant in Grande Prairie Alberta where an additional four stolen travel trailers were recovered. All VIN’s and the vessel HIN had been altered. If you have information regarding this investigation please contact Detective Alf Normand of the Edmonton Police Auto Theft Unit.
February 10, 2014 - Vancouver Police Marine Unit warns of break and enter to vessels
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is advising of a recent rash of break and enters to vessels in marinas in the Vancouver area. Police are requesting that insurance groups and marina operators remind their customers to report any break and enters to their local police regardless of there being any damage or theft involved.
February 10, 2014 - 2007 Four Winns stolen from Agassiz is recovered in Calgary, Alberta
In early February 2014, Stolen Boats Canada received a call from a member of the public that had located a 2007 Four Winns Horizon for sale in Calgary Alberta. The caller advised that the HIN matched a Four Winns listed on Stolen Boats Canada web page. The Calgary Police Service attended and confirmed the vessel to have been stolen from Agassiz in 2011. The engine for the vessel had been previously recovered by members of the Vancouver Police Auto Crime Enforcement Unit in 2012.
February 8, 2014 - 1996 Maxum stolen with trailer in Langley, BC
The Langley RCMP request assistance in locating a 1996 Maxum stolen with trailer from in front of the owner's residence. The vessel is white with blue and grey accents, and is equipped with a 1996 Mercury 4.3L inboard/outbourd (serial #0F600378). This vessel was on a 1996 Escort trailer at the time of the theft. January 2014 - 2001 Bayliner 2455 Cierra stolen from Sechelt Inlet is recovered submerged near Powell River, BC
In late October 2013, a 2001 Bayliner 2455 Cierra was stolen from Lighthouse Marina in Sechelt Inlet, Sechelt BC. In mid-January 2014, the vessel was found partially submerged on the shoreline along the Sunshine Coast Highway, 4 kms west of Saltery Bay Provincial Park. (Powell River RCMP 2014-190). The white aftermarket steel radar arch, Mercruiser 5.0 litre V8, serial number 0L787555 with Alpha I stern drive, Quicksilver 8.9’ tender (HIN USA16641D405) along with all electronics, hoses and wiring were stripped from the vessel prior to it being set adrift. Please be cognizant of anyone selling parts from this vessel or that has purchased a salvaged similar vessel and recently completed a complete refit. (link to orginal stolen bulletin).

January 1, 2014 - Great Pacific Inflatable with launching wheels stolen from Coquitlam, BC
Between December 31, 2013 and January 1, 2014 a grey and white Great Pacific Inflatable SXV300 was stolen from Coquitlam BC. This vessel is equipped with Boatstogo.com Launching Wheels (red rims). January 1, 2014 - 1999 Zodiac MK3 Futura with trailer stolen from Coquitlam, BC
On January 1, 2014 a red 1999 Zodiac MK3 Futura inflatable was stolen with EZ Loader trailer from Coquitlam BC. This vessel is equipped with a 55hp Evinrude outboard.
