November 14, 2011 - Galasport Toro Evo kayak stolen in Chilliwack, BC
The Chilliwack RCMP request your assistance in locating a stolen Galasport Toro Evo kayak stolen between November 13 and November 14, 2011. This 3 meter kayak is dark and light blue with a Galasport.com sticker on the stern and a Toro Evo sticker on the bow. November 11, 2011 - 2009 Polaris Spirit stolen with trailer stolen from owner's residence in Coquitlam, BC
The Coquitlam RCMP and Chris Small Marine Surveyors Ltd request your assistance in locating a 2009 Polaris Spirit with aluminum Highliner trailer stolen from outside the owner's reidence on November 11, 2011. The vessel is aluminum hulled, navy blue with a yellow stipe with a 30HP Yamaha F30LEHA outboard engine. October 16, 2011 - Three Yamaha outboards stolen off vessels at Marina in Kawartha, Ontario

October 5, 2011 - Abandoned Harbercraft Aluminum boat found in Pitt Meadows
On October 7, 2011 at 0859 hours Ridge Meadows RCMP received a complaint from a Metro Vancouver Parks employee, who stated he had found a 1989 10ft Silver/ Red Harbercraft Aluminum boat in the water near Harris Road and Fraser Way in Pitt Meadows. October 5, 2011 - Abandoned Sailboat found in Nooksack River
Lummi Nation PD have located a sailboat in the Nooksack River, just upstream from Bellingham Bay. The vessel is tied off to two trees, and according to local fisherman has been there for over a week. The location and circumstances suggest the boat may be stolen. There is no hull identification number, boat name or other information to help identify the boat. September 29, 2011 - 2008 Centurion Enzo with trailer stolen from owner's residence in Surrey, BC
The Surrey RCMP and Chris Small Marine Surveyors Ltd request your assistance in locating a stolen 2008 Centurion Enzo with Sport Boat trailer stolen from outside the owner's reidence between 11:30pm September 28 and 7:30am September 29. The vessel is blue, white and black on a blue tandem axel Sport Boat trailer. September 26, 2011 - Wilderness Tsunami kayak stolen from roof of van in Surrey, BC
The Surrey RCMP request your assistance in locating a stolen Wilderness Tsunami kayak stolen from the roof of a van on the morning of Monday September 26, 2011. This 14.5" kayak is orange with stickers for the "North Shore Sea Kayak Assoc" and "Cascade Craig". The rear hatch is held on by a blue bungee cord. September 22, 2011 - Abandoned Boat and trailer found in New Westminster identified as stolen from Vancouver
On September 21st 2011, the New Westminster Police Service advised Stolen Boats Canada that a 1980’s Cobra speed boat had been found abandoned in New Westminster. A bulletin was fanned out and subsequently posted on the web page. Constable Caedmon Nash of the Vancouver Police Department received the Stolen Boats Canada bulletin and began searching the internet where he located the vessel in question on Craigslist associated to a “Stolen Vessel” ad posted by the vessel owner. The owner and the New Westminter Police were advised, and it was determined the vessel was stolen in Vancouver on September 15th. A joint investigation into the incident is ongoing. September 18, 2011 - Abandoned Boat and trailer found in New Westminster, BC - owner unknown
The New Westminster Police attended the intersection of Duncan Street & Boyd Street, New Westminster at approximately 6 pm on September 18th, for a report of a 16’ abandoned boat & trailer. The boat is a Cobra, believed to be mid 1970’s or 80s, and the motor is a 140HP Johnson. The engine has been repainted black, and the hull is repainted silver. Cst Russ Roest of the New Westminster Police is asking for assistance in identifying the owner so the vessel can be returned. NWPS 604-525-5411 File Number 2011-17377.
September 15, 2011 - Lund Rebel stolen from New Westminster, BC
The New Westminster Police Department request your assistance in locating a stolen Lund Rebel with 50hp Mercury outboard. The v
essel was stolen September 15th from floating home in Fraser River. It was later found adrift by Smit Tug and towed to Fraser River Pile and Dredge wharf. The Receiver of Wrecks was notified and subsequently notified Stolen Boats Canada of “Found Vessel” believed to be stolen. On September 17th the New Westminster PD was notified and attended to FRPD to retrieve the vessel. On arrival, members were unable to locate the vessel and  determined that the vessel had subsequently been stolen from the Fraser River Pile and Dredge wharf between September 15th and the evening of September 17th. The vessel remains outstanding. September 13, 2011 - VPD Marine Unit issues Theft Alert to Marinas
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit in conjunction with the Marina Operators Group are wanting to advise boat owners and other marina operators of an increase in vessel break and enters in the False Creek area. Electronics, Bino’s, safety gear, kickers and alcohol appear to be the target of the suspect(s). Please be cognizant of this when doing “dock walks” or visiting your vessel and report any suspicious activity immediately to police.

September 11, 2011 - Fountain Lightning stolen from Marina in Servern Township, Ontario
The Ontario Provincial Police request your assistance in locating a white with pink graphics 1996 Fountain Lightning 10.7m stolen from Jim Earle Marina in the Township of Severn, Ontario (Georgian Bay) between September 9 and September 10, 2011. September 10, 2011 - Bombardier Seadoo Challenger 180 stolen from Tiny Beaches, Ontario
The Ontario Provincial Police request your assistance in locating a red and white 2009 Bombardier Seadoo Challenger stolen from Tiny Beaches (near Simcoe) Ontario between September 7 and September 9, 2011. September 10, 2011 - Zeta stolen in West Vancouver is recovered in the Fraser River by Fisheries Officers
On Saturday September 10th at approximately 7 pm, Department of Fisheries officers from the Fraser Valley West Detachment were patrolling the Fraser River in the Pattulla Bridge area. They spotted a vessel tied to an abandoned wharf on the Surrey side of the river that resembled the Zeta on a bulletin they had received from Stolen Boats Canada. During their investigation, officers noted that the vessel license had been changed to disguise the vessel. They were able to determine the vessel license to be fraudulent.
Members reviewed the Stolen Boats Canada bulletin on their laptop and confirmed the vessel to be the 19’ Zeta reported stolen from Horseshoe Bay within the last two weeks. The vessel was seized and the investigation continues. (link to original stolen vessel bulletin)
September 7, 2011 - Bombardier AX5000 inflatable stolen from marina in Vancouver, BC
The Vancouver Police Department Marine Unit request your assistance in locating a 1992 Bombardier AX5000 inflatable stolen from the Heather Civic Marina in Flase Creek, Vancouver, BC between September 1-6, 2011. This White 9.5' vessel has a white floor covering and is equipped with an 18hp Nissan outboard. September 6, 2011 - Information Request - Canadian Coast Guard Environmental Response Unit
The Canadian Coast Guard Environmental Response Unit responded to a call of a vessel washed ashore in the Saanich Inlet area. The vessel posed an environmental hazard and was immediately extracted from the water to mitigate the threat to the surrounding habitat. Crew members on scene inspected the “Lady Patricia”, a 1975 24 foot Fiberform cruiser, and believe it was scuttled. The Canadian Coast Guard is requesting assistance in order to return the vessel to its owner. September 2, 2011 - Two Bombardier GSX stolen from Bailey's Bay Resort, Ontario

August 30, 2011 - 1994 Cobalt with trailer stolen in Surrey, BC
The Surrey Detachment of the RCMP request your assistance in locating a 1994 Cobalt with trailer stolen between August 20-09, 2011 from Woodcrest Drivee. This white and navy blue 24' vessel is equipped with a Volvo Penta DPX 8.2L engine. August 24, 2011 - Aquamarine found by VPD Marine Squad - owner unknown
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is attempting to reunite a 2006 Aquamarine Inflatable with its owner.
On August 24th an Aquamarine 230 inflatable, approximately 7 feet in length, drifted into the False Creek Yacht Club under the Granville Bridge in False Creek. August 18, 2011 - Stolen Achilles inflatable recovered by VPD Marine Squad
On August 18th Vancouver Police Marine Unit members were doing a search of wharfs in False Creek in an attempt to locate an Achilles that had been stolen a week previous from the area. The search resulted in the recovery of the 2006 Achilles and engine located tied to the pilings near Science World in the east basin. It appears the vessel was still being used by the suspect and was possibly involved in several vessel break and enters in the False Creek area. August 18, 2011 - Walker Bay inflatable stolen from water in Sidney, BC
The Sidney / North Saanich Detachment of the RCMP request your assistance in locating a 2008 or 2009 Walker Bay Odyssey inflatable stolen from the water on August 17, 2011. This grey 10.5' vessel has a distinctive blue floor covering and is equipped with a 9.9hp Mercury outboard. August 13, 2011 - 1996 Reinell BRXL180 with trailer stolen from storage compound in Summerland, BC
The Summerland Detachment of the RCMP request your assistance in locating a 1996 Reinell BRXL 180 with Trailer stolen on August 12, 2011 from Alcar Storage in Summerland, BC. This 18' Burgundy and white vessel is equipped with a 4.3L V6 Mercruiser. August 9, 2011 - 2007 Legend Bayshore 20RE Pontoon boat stolen in Vernon, BC

August 6, 2011 - Information requested from Port Moody Police for 2000 Baja H2X
On August 6th 2011, Cst Ian Morrison of the Port Moody Police Department seized a 2000 Baja H2X, with an altered HIN, while checking vessels at Rocky Point boat launch. The vessel is believed to have originated from the Kelowna or Penticton area. Anyone with knowledge of a missing vessel of this description is asked to contact Cst Morrison at 604-461-3456.
August 3, 2011 - 2011 Zodiac Typhoon lost near Sechelt Inlet, BC
The Sunshine Coast Detachment of the RCMP request your assistance in locating a 2011 Zodiac Typhoon that was lost while being towed near Sechelt Rapids in Skookumchuck Narrows around 11pm on August 3, 2011. This 10' vessel is grey and navy blue and is equipped with a 15hp Suzuki outboard (serial # 1502F-781957). The vessel has 2 life jackets (one with the names Yvonne and Shane Hendra), paddles and a manual pump/bailer. August 2, 2011 - 2009 Four Winns SL262 with trailer stolen in Kelowna, BC
The Kelowna Detachment of the RCMP request your assistance in locating a 2009 Four Winns with matching tandem trailer stolen overnight on August 1 from Atlantis Marine in Kelowna BC. The vessel has a yellow/beige interior, and is the only vessel with this colour scheme in BC or Alberta. July 31, 2011 - 2004 Sea Ray Sun Sport stolen in Quebec is recovered in Vancouver
At the conclusion of the fireworks display in English Bay on July 30th, a Sea Ray Sun Sport 290 caught the attention of members. The HIN and engine numbers had been altered and the VIN had been removed from the trailer. The vessel was seized by members for investigation. Following a Joint Forces Operation between the Vancouver Police Marine Unit and the Coquitlam RCMP Rural Enforcement Unit, the vessel was identified as being stolen from Quebec in June of 2006. The vessel had been re licensed in Ontario before being sold to a Delta man. The vessel has been insured and operating in BC since 2007. July 27, 2011 - 1984 Grady White stolen from driveway in Victoria, BC
The West Shore Detachment of the RCMP request your assistance in locating a 1984 Grady White with trailer that was stolen from the owners driveway in the Highlands are of Victoria. July 17, 2011 - 2001 Boston Whaler stolen from mooring on Okanagan Lake, BC
The Summerland Detachment of the RCMP request your assistance in locating a 2001 Boston Whaler 18' Dauntless that was stolen from a mooring buoy on Okanagan Lake earlier in July 2011. July 11, 2011 - 1989 Campion Allante with trailer stolen from storage in Kelowna, BC
The Kelowna RCMP Detachment requests assistance in locating a red and white 1989 Campion Allante 185 bowrider. The vessel is named “Aurora” with vessel license 31K-6322 on a white EZLoader trailer, plate 659 549. This vessel and trailer were stolen 2011 July 10 at 7:00 am from the packing house storage facility in Kelowna. The suspect vehicle is a white GMC jimmy. July 1, 2011 - 2008 Bayliner F-18 with Karavan trailer stolen in Surrey, BC

June 22, 2011 - Owner of Southern Pacific Inflatable located after seeing post on website
On June 22nd Constable Greg Smith of the New Westminster Police Service confirmed the identity of the owner of a Southern Pacific inflatable that had been recovered from the Fraser River. The owner of the inflatable observed his vessel on Stolen Boats Canada web site and contacted Constable Smith. The tender had been stolen along with the victim’s larger vessel from a marina in Richmond. Following an investigation, Constable Smith was able to confirm the vessel belonged to the caller. June 20, 2011 - Chilliwack RCMP recover stolen PWC - owner unknown
The Chilliwack RCMP recovered a 1997 Bombardier Sea-Doo and trailer. The HIN has been removed and the craft subsequently painted red. It is believed that the original colour was white and purple. The secondary HIN was located however it was last registered in 1999. June 12, 2011 - Rendova stolen from warf in Cowichan Bay is recovered on Bowen Island
The 1994 Rendova stolen from Cowichan Bay has been recovered. The owners are very greatful to everyone for keeping an eye out for their vessel. June 2, 2011 - Mercruiser Sterndrive stolen from storage in Langley, BC
Chris Small Marine Surveyors seek assistance in locating a 2007 Mercruiser Bravo III sterndrive taken from a storage compound at Galleon Marine in Langley overnight on June 1. Also taken were two stainless steel propeller sets. The serial # for the leg is OW917733. June 1, 2011 - Recreational vehicles stolen in Kelowna
Kelowna RCMP are looking for a Red GMC pickup and a White 5 ton cube van following a break in to a locked compound, at 1345 Industrial Rd in West Kelowna, sometime overnight on May 30-31.
Suspects broke into the fenced compound, which surrounds a Tire Shop, Mattress Store and Marine retailer. They emptied the Mattress Store's 5 ton cube van that had been loaded with used mattresses. The van has "Majestic Mattress" logos on the side and a graphic on the rear door, and has a B.C. licence of CH 2705. The thieves then loaded two ATVs and a Yamaha Personal Watercraft into the van. They also took a red 2004 GMC Sierra pickup with BC licence number 3663 FS. May 24, 2011 - VPD seek assistance in identifying Maxxon Inflatable
On May 24th 2011 a Maxxon Inflatable was left tied to a vessel in the False Creek Harbour Authority docks near the Burrard Bridge. The owner of the vessel that it was tied on to, awoke to find his Brigg inflatable stolen and the Maxxon left in its place. The owner of the missing Brigg searched False Creek and subsequently found his vessel tied up at Stamps Landing in the False Creek east basin. His 2006 15 hp Mercury outboard is still outstanding. May 17, 2011 - 2011 Brig recovered on Bowen Island
On May 5th 2011, Brad Leaney of Westcan Inflatable Boats contacted the Vancouver Police Marine Unit after seeing a Brig that was listed as stolen on Stolen Boats Canada , being offered for sale on Craigslist. Leaney had sold the vessel originally through his dealership and was confident that the boat was one in the same. A joint project involving the Bowen Island RCMP, Vancouver Police Marine Unit and the Vancouver Police Anti Fencing Unit resulted in the identification and recovery of the vessel on Bowen Island. It was determined that the party currently selling the vessel was unaware it was stolen. The investigation is ongoing. (link to original theft bulletin).

May 7, 2011 - Information Requested by Elk Valley RCMP on abandoned Four Winns
In July 2010, a 1990 Four Winns Horizon 200 ski boat and trailer was abandoned in the Duty Free parking lot near the Canada USA border crossing at Port of Roosville. The Port of Roosville crossing is located north of Eureka Montana and South of Fernie BC. Cst Milo Melwood of the RCMP Elk Valley Detachment has queried the vessel in Canada and the USA with negative results. Cst Melwood was able to track down a previous owner of the boat that stated he sold the boat in Montana approximately 10 years previous. The vessel is a 20’ teal and white 1990 Four Winns Horizon 200. Vessel License 1H24963, HIN 4WNMF227H990 with an OMC Cobra 260 HP inboard/outboard motor. April 13, 2011 - Chilliwack RCMP seek assistance in identifying vessel owner
The RCMP Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment Crime Reduction Unit has seized a 1991 Misty River 18’ open aluminium boat. The vessel and trailer are believed to be stolen. The vessel is equipped with a mercury outboard and EZ Loader trailer. Members determined the machine gun mounted on the bow to be a replica. The vessel is known to have been actively used on the Fraser River in the Chilliwack area. Constable Layne Penner is requesting assistance in identifying the rightful owner of the vessel and trailer. April 12, 2011 - 2006 Yamaha outboard recovered
On April 12th Stolen Boats Canada received a call from Rick Hammer of the Pitt Meadows Paddling Club.
Hammer stated that a barge had arrived in the South Alouette River over night and it had a new engine attached and a tender in tow. The RCMP Coquitlam Rural Policing Unit attended to inspect the vessel. The serial number plate was removed from the motor however, the investigators located a secondary serial number, checked Stolen Boats Canada web site on their personal “iPhone” and determined that the 2006 Yamaha 20hp outboard was stolen from Pitt Meadows Marina between April 1st and 8th 2011. April 1, 2011 - 2007 Rinker Captiva identified
With the assistance of Stem to Stern Marine Services, the Vancouver Police Marine Unit has confirmed that the 2007 Rinker recovered in Pitt Meadows on March 29th was originally stolen from Kelowna in June 2010. The vessel was subsequently repainted blue, renumbered, reinsured and reported stolen from Sechelt in December 2010. March 31, 2011 - Cargo Trailer stolen from residence in Surrey - as on Global TV News
The theft of this trailer was featured on Global News on March 31st (link to video). Make and VIN are not available at this time. A retired couple had loaded their personal belongings into the trailer preparing for a move. The trailer contained photo albums and other non replaceable items. The trailer was stolen from the front of their residence Monday night March 28th. March 29, 2011 - 2007 Rinker Captiva recovered in Pitt Meadows
On March 29th 2011, VPD Marine Unit members obtained a break in a protracted investigation that lead to the recovery of a 2007 Rinker Captiva that had been reported stolen in December 2010 from Sechelt. With assistance from the Coquitlam RCMP Rural Policing Unit and the Ridge Meadows RCMP, the vessel was successfully recovered in the Pitt Meadows area near the Fraser River. An inspection of the vessel has revealed that the vessel has been renumbered and repainted prior to its theft from Sechelt. It is believed that the vessel may have originally been stolen in June 2010 from the Kelowna area. The vessel remains in the VPD Marine Unit compound while investigators attempt to identify the vessel further. March 19, 2011 - 2001 Sea Ray recovered in Kelowna with stolen truck and trailer
On March 18th the Kelowna RCMP Property Crime Unit executed a search warrant on a rural property situated between Beaverdell and Rock Creek. Upon execution of the warrant a stolen 28ft. 2001 Sea Ray and matching boat trailer were located hidden down an embankment and behind some trees. The vessel had been reported stolen from Kelowna in September 2010. A stolen 2008 Dodge ram and 35ft triple axle trailer were also recovered. March 19, 2011 - Polaris stolen from Ladner is recovered in Langley
On March 16th 2011, a male contacted Chris Small of Chris Small Marine Surveyors to state that he had been on a property in Langley and had seen a 15’ Polaris that was listed on Stolen Boats Canada web page as “Stolen”. Chris Small contacted the VPD Marine Unit and advised them of the information. On March 19th, members attended a farm in Langley and identified the 2003 Polaris pictured below. The vessel had been stolen from Captain’s Cove in 2007. The engine and trailer remain outstanding. March 18, 2011 - Beneteau Sailboat stolen from North Saanich is recovered by Delta Police
On March 14th, the 47' Beneteau "Merriweather" was reported stolen from Canoe Cove Marina in North Saanich BC. As a result of a combined effort of the staff at Canoe Cove Marina, Victoria Marine Commercial Traffic and the RCMP, the vessel was determined to be in a marina on the Fraser River in Delta BC. After an extensive investigation by the Delta Police Department, the Merriweather, now sporting a new name and numbers, was recovered on the afternoon of March 18th. The investigation is ongoing. March 14, 2011 - 2003 Beneteau 473 Sailboat "Merriweather" stolen from Canoe Cove Marina, North Saanich

March 7, 2011 - Stolen Bayliner recovered from residence in Abbotsford
Abbotsford Police seized a 19’ Bowrider from a residence in Abbotsford during an investigation. The vessel had decals representing the vesssel as a Maxum. The HIN had also been altered to replicate a Maxum. With assistance from the Vancouver Police Marine unit, the vessel was subsequently identified as a Bayliner 185 stolen from the lower mainland in 2008. The investigation is ongoing.
March 7, 2011 - Vessel found adrift in Fraser River
The Richmond RCMP is requesting assistance in identifying the hull of a vessel located in the Fraser River along River Rd in Richmond. The red fibreglass hull apppears to have been in the water for some time. Only markings on the boat are 2240626. Please contact Cst. February 23, 2011 - 2004 Moomba Mobius stolen from Kelowna is recovered in Surrey
A caller contacted Stolen Boats Canada after observing a vessel in a field in South Surrey that the caller believed to be listed on the web page as stolen. Wishing to remain anonymous, the caller was given directions on contacting Cri me Stoppers. The subsequent tip through Crime Stoppers resulted in the recovery of a stolen 2004 Skiers Choice Moomba Mobius XLV by the Vancouver Police Marine Unit early on February 23. The vessel has been identified as being stolen from the Kelowna area in mid October 2010. The investigation is ongoing. (link to original theft bulletin).
February 16, 2011 - 2006 Lund SSV Aluminum runabout stolen from Pitt Lake is recovered
Two outdoorsmen located a submerged 2006 Lund SSV-18' red aluminum runabout in a slough off the Pitt River. The 2008 25hp Yamaha outboard was located in the water close by. After salvaging the vessel and engine, the men checked the Stolen Boats Canada web page and noted the vessel listed as being stolen in late December from Pitt Lake. There have been several cabin break and enters and vessel thefts in the Pitt Lake area and police are reminding property owners to monitor their assets on a regular basis. February 15, 2011 - Sumoto inflatable with 1980's Honda engine found adrift in Pitt Lake
The Coquitlam RCMP has recovered a Sumoto inflatable 10' dinghy with a 1980's Honda 4 stroke engine adrift in the Pitt Lake area. Attempts are being made to identify the vessel’s owner. January 2, 2011 - Thunder Jet stolen in Maple Ridge and recovered in Fraser River
On December 31st 2010, Cst Mainwood of the RCMP Ridge Meadows Detachment attended to a warehouse in the 23300 block River Road in Maple Ridge to a reported break and enter. Between 1400 hrs on December 30th and 1400 hrs on December 31st, suspects(s) broke into a commercial building and stole a 22 foot 2009 Thunder Jet Rio Classic and trailer. On January 2nd 2011, the vessel was recovered adrift in the Fraser River near the Alex Fraser Bridge. The trailer remains outstanding.
