December 22, 2009 - Catamaran stolen in Mexico is recovered destroyed, suspects arrested
The 2000 Robertson & Caine 44-foot Velero Catamaran stolen from La Paz, Mexico, in November 2008 has been recovered 160 km north of Mazatlan. Unfortunately the vessel was destroyed. The suspects were located in Florida.
December 10, 2009 - Mastercraft Prostar stolen from Langley recovered in Abbotsford
The Abbotsford Police Department recently identified this 1999 Mastercraft and trailer when members seized approximately one million dollars worth of vehicles and heavy equipment. The vessel and trailer had been stolen from Langley BC in late September. Several people were taken into custody in relation to the seizures. The investigation is ongoing.
December 4, 2009 - 2004 Sea Ray Sundancer 360 stolen from Nanaimo Harbour Public Warf
On December 4, 2009 a blue and white 2004 Sea Ray Sundancer 360 was stolen from the Nanaimo Harbour Public Warf. Contact Constable Segstro of the Nanaimo RCMP (250-754-2345) if you have any information on this theft or information that might lead to the recovery of this vessel. File 2009-36205.
December 1, 2009 - Center Console Custom Aluminum Streamline boat stolen with trailer from an Industrial Park in Maple Ridge
On December 1, 2009 a 17' Center Console Aluminum vessel, with Mercury Jet outboard, was stolen on accompanying EZ Loader trailer from an Industrial Park in Maple Ridge. November 21, 2009 - Harbercraft 19' Aluminum stolen with trailer in Nanaimo
On November 21, 2009 a 19' Black and Grey Harbercraft with 2007 Karavan trailer and dual Yamaha outboard motors was stolen in Nanaimo. November 10, 2009 - Yellow Seacret Kayak found near Point Atkinson
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit ask for your assistance in identifying the owner of a yellow Seacret Kayak located along Caulfeild Rocks near Pt Atkinson off West Vancouver. November 10, 2009 - Sea Doo stolen in 2008 recovered in Mission
Cst. Cam KAMIYA of the Mission RCMP Community Response Unit recovered a Sea Doo RXP that had been stripped of the engine and dumped in a secluded waterway in the Mission area. Cst Kamiya contacted Bombardier and traced the Sea Doo to the original owner but was unable to obtain any details from the subject. On November 10 2009, Cst Kamiya’s investigation lead him to the Stolen Boats Canada web page where he was able to identify the recovered craft as being stolen from Surrey in August of 2008.
November 8, 2009 - Malibu Wakesetter with trailer stolen in Kelowna
On November 8, 2009 a 21.5' Malibu Wakesetter (2005 model) on an Extreme trailer was stolen in Kelowna. Contact the Kelowna RCMP (250-762-3300) if you have any information regarding this theft or any information that may lead to the recovery of this vessel. File # 2009-57796.
November 7, 2009 - Lifetimer stolen with trailer from South Surrey
On November 7, 2009 a 16' Lifetimer Aluminum with a Honda o/b on a Roadrunner Trailer was stolen in South Surrey. Contact Cst. November 5, 2009 - Lund stolen with trailer from Surrey
Overnight on November 5, 2009 a Lund SSV with 2009 Mercury o/b on an EZ Loader Trailer was stolen in Surrey. Contact Cst. Elliot (604-599-0502) of the Surrey RCMP if you have any information regarding this theft or any information that may lead to the recovery of this vessel. File # 2009-140622.
October 12, 2009 - Sport Fish Boat recovered by Vancouver Police Marine Unit
On 2009 October 12, Vancouver Police Marine Unit members located and seized an aluminum sport fish vessel. The subsequent investigation by members identified the vessel as being stolen from a Burnaby bailiff’s compound a few nights previous. Alert residents of the area where the vessel was located are being credited with the recovery.
October 11, 2009 - Steveston International tender found adrift off Cowan Point
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is requesting assistance in identifying a Steveston International 8’ fibreglass tender equipped with a bilge pump and battery. The partially worn off name “Prime Plus Half” is visible on the stern. The vessel was recovered adrift off Cowan Point on October 11, 2009 by a Canadian Coast Guard crew from the Kitsilano Base. October 10, 2009 - Items stolen from Boat BNE on Salt Spring Island
On October 10, 2009 between the hours of midnight and 0900 hours, unknown persons broke into a sail boat that was moored at a private dock on the West side of Salt Spring Island, BC. Among other personal items and tools the following were stolen a 32"Sony flat screen and a 15 HP Mariner motor from the run about. A garden hose was cut and the cut portion used to take fuel (diesel). Please contact Constable EMERY (250-537-5555)of the RCMP Salt Spring Island Detachment with any information on this theft.
October 4, 2009 - Theft of copper wire from site accessed via the Fraser River.
Between October 3rd and 7th, suspects entered the Catalyst Paper site at 420 E Kent Avenue via the Fraser River. Several hundred pounds of copper wire was subsequently stolen from the conveyor that extends over the river’s edge for loading barges. The suspects returned between October 9th and 13th and stole the last of the copper wire on site. Vancouver PD is requesting information on any vessels observed at the Catalyst Paper wharf during the times of the thefts. October 4, 2009 - 2007 Custom Weld Viper II stolen from Machina Way in Richmond
On October 3rd or 4th 2009 a 2007 Custom Weld Viper II with Yamaha engine and kicker was stolen with a 2008 EZ loader trailer from Machina Way in Richmond. October 3, 2009 - 2005 Malibu Response stolen with trailer from Park Royal, West Vancouver
On October 3rd, 2009 the owner of a 2005 Malibu Response LXI found this vessel to be stolen, with trailer, from the underground parking lot of Park Royal Towers. September 2009 - Achilles inflatable stolen in False Creek
Sometime between September 9 and 29, 2009 an 8' Achilles inflatable was stolen from False Creek. Contact Cst. September 19, 2009 - Red and White kayak found adrift in Howe Sound
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is requesting assistance in identifying a red and white 12’ Kayak of unknown make. The kayak appears to have been hand painted white below the waterline. The vessel was recovered adrift in Howe Sound on 2009 September 19 by a Canadian Coast Guard crew from the Kitsilano Base. September 15, 2009 - Outlaw Muskwa stolen with trailer from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta
On September 15, 2009 a 2007 Outlaw Kuskwa with trailer was stolen from Rocky Mountain House. Please contact the Rocky Mountain House RCMP Detachment (403.845.2882) if you have any information regarding this theft or any information that may lead to the recovery of this vessel.
September 2009 - Mastercraft X-Star stolen from Kelowna
Sometime during September 2009 an orange 2005 Mastercraft X-Star with a Chev 350 engine on a Mastercraft trailer was stolen from Kelowna. Contact your local police or the Kelowna RCMP if you have any information regarding this theft or the current location of the vessel.
September 21, 2009 - Mastercraft Prostar stolen from owner's residence in Langley
On September 21, 2009 a 1999 Mastercraft Prostar on a white Mastercraft trailer was stolen from the owner's driveway in Langley. Contact your local police or the Langley RCMP if you have any information regarding this theft or the current location of the vessel.
September 19, 2009 - Stolen Bayliner recovered in Nanaimo
In 2004, the Bayliner Cierra, pictured below, was stolen from Lynnwood Marina in North Vancouver. Shortly after the theft, investigators with the West Vancouver Police obtained information regarding the vessel and the new altered HIN. The investigation led to the Nanaimo area but then went cold. The vessel was subsequently added to Stolen Boats Canada. On September 18th 2009 Stolen Boats Canada received information that the stolen vessel was in Nanaimo Harbour. A consorted effort involving the RCMP West Coast Marine Squad, RCMP Gabriola Island, RCMP North Vancouver and the Vancouver Police Marine Unit, resulted in the vessel being located and identified as that stolen in 2004 from Lynnwood Marina.
September 14, 2009 - Campion Allante stolen from owner's driveway in Agassiz
In the early morning hours of September 14, 2009 a Campion Allante on a 2009 U-build trailer was stolen from the owner's driveway in Agassiz. The vessel has a white hull and deck with black gelcoat sheer stripe, and is fitted with grey boat cover & black Bimini top. A 2002, 135hp Mercruiser inboard/outboard was attached.
September 14, 2009 - Prince George RCMP request information on 1987 Wellcraft Elite that is believed to be stolen
The Prince George RCMP request assistance in determining the owner of a 1987 Wellcraft Elite 220 that is believed to be stolen. This vessel has a distinctive custom paint job. Contact Cst Jeff Shore of the Prince George RCMP (250-561-3306) if you have any information to assist the investigation.
September 11, 2009 - Two Sea Doos stolen from Dockside Marina in Kelowna
On September 10, 2009 Dockside Marina in Kelowna was the victim of a BNE and two Sea Doos were stolen with a 2007 Triton Silver trailer. Be on the lookout for a 2007 Sea Doo RXT (red) and a 2007 Sea Doo GTX Wake (red). Contact Cst. B. Harkness of the Kelowna RCMP (250-762-3300 File 2009-47471 if you have any information on this theft.
September 11, 2009 - Stolen Laser Pico Recovered by VPD
The 12’ Laser Pico Sailing Dinghy stolen from the Kitsilano Sailing Club in early July 2009 has been recovered by Constables Ford and Lee while on patrol in the Jericho area of Vancouver. The file is still active.
September 10, 2009 - Achilles inflatable stolen from anchored vessel in False Creek
Between September 7 and 9, 2009 a 2006 Achilles LT2 was stolen from a vessel in the East Basin area of False Creek. This inflatable is white in colour, with a wooden grey floor and no outboard, marked with "Pilgrim Wake" on the transom. September 4, 2009 - Stolen Sylvan Adventure recovered on Langley Farm
In early August 2009, Langley RCMP members attended a property in the Langley area to investigate a report of a suspicious vessel. On investigation, members determined that the vessel was on file stolen with the Vancouver Police Department. The vessel and trailer had been stolen in August 2008 from Vanier Park in Vancouver. The investigation continues.

September 4, 2009 - 2002 Lowe Jon Boat stolen from Yeo Sim Bay on Pitt Lake
Between August 23rd and August 28, 2009 a 12' 2002 Lowe Jon Boat was stolen from Yeo Sim Bay on Pitt Lake. Contact Constable Matt Poitras of the Coquitlam RCMP (604-552-7346) if you have any information regarding this theft or leading to the recovery of the vessel.

September 4, 2009 - Charter ship Rosella III stolen from Granville Island and recovered in active Pass with suspect arrested
On September 4th at 4 pm, Ken Ashley noticed his 1958 Grenfell 52 footer, the Rosella III was missing from her berth at Granville Island. VPD Marine was advised and immediately enlisted the assistance of Vancouver Coast Guard Radio. A broadcast was made on VHF 16. Moments later crews of the Alison Nicole I and the Sea Span Commander located a debris field of the Rosella III’s life raft, life rings and other items off Sturgeon Banks. A full SAR was entered into by JRCC in case the debris field was more than a “Smoke Screen”. At approximately 7 pm, BC Ferries vessel Bowen Queen reported that she was following the Rosella III through Active Pass. The Spirit of BC also assisted in tailing the Rosella III. A Canadian Forces Cormorant held over head while members of the Ganges RCMP, with the assistance of the CCG Life Boat Cape Kuper boarded the Rosella III and took the suspect into custody. Police will be recommending numerous charges in relation to the incident. VPD Marine would like to thank everyone for their vigilance.
September 2, 2009 - 2006 Malibu Sport Bowrider recovered in Puget Sound
The 2006 Malibu stolen from Oak Bay Marina has been recovered at a marina located in Puget Sound in Washington State by the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. The Oak Bay Police are investigating the circumstances involving the theft of the vessel. Anyone with possible information regarding this vessel are requested to contact Sgt. Don Symes or Cst Bruce Kennedy of the Oak Bay Police Department at (250) 592-2424.
September 2, 2009 - Two Mercury outboards purchased with fraudulent VISA in Abbotsford
In late July 2009 two Mercury outboards (9.9hp ELH BF and 9.9hp M) were purchased from T-N-T Marine in Abbotsford with a credit card that was subsequently determined to be fraudulently used. Be on the lookout for these motors as they will likely be resold as-is or attached to a stolen vessel and resold. Contact your local police department if you have any knowledge on the whereabouts of these engines.
August 30, 2009 - 2006 Malibu Sport Bowrider stolen from Oak Bay Marina
Between August 14 and August 29, 2009 a 2006 Malibu Sport Bowrider was stolen from the Oak Bay Marina. Contact Sgt. Don Symes or Cst Bruce Kennedy of the Oak Bay Police (250-592-2424) if you have any information regarding this theft or leading to the recovery of the vessel.
August 30, 2009 - Azul Argon Kayak Found adrift off Sechelt
On 2009 August 30 the VPD Marine Unit took possession of a 2004 Red Azul Argon Kayak. This vessel was found adrift off Sechelt in July 2009 and attempts to locate an owner have so far been unsuccessful. Contact Cst Jamie Gibson of the VPD Marine Unit if you have any information (604-817-1946)
August 27, 2009 - Yamaha Waverunner FX Cruiser stolen from Chestermere, Alberta
In the early morning hours of August 27, 2009 a Yamaha Waverunner FX Cruiseer with Shorelander trailer was stolen from Chestermere, aLberta. Contact David Ekstrand (403-826 9037), Stolen Boats Canada or your local police if you have any information leading to the recovery of this vessel.
August 18, 2009 - Recovered AB Hullabulloo
On 2009 August 18th an 8' AB Hullabuloo with a 15hp Mercury outboard was seized by CST Dan O'Donovan of the Vancouver Police Marine Unit. This vessell is believed to be stolen. Contact the VPD Marine Unit at 604-817-1946 if you have any information regarding the ownership of this vessell.
August 17, 2009 - Stolen Clinker Pram recovered near Horseshoe Bay
On 2009 August 17th Jon Richardson contacted Stolen Boats Canada to advise that his custom hand crafted Clinker Pram had been recovered in the woods near Horse Shoe Bay. Jon wanted to acknowledge the assistance of the staff at The Boat Center and that of Sewell’s Marina for assisting in the vessel’s recovery (see original theft bulletin)
August 15, 2009 - Sea Doo RXT stolen from the waters of Cultus Lake
On August 15, 2009 a black, red, and white Sea Doo RXT was stolen from the waters of Cultus Lake. Contact the Chilliwack RCMP (604-702-4243) if you have any information regarding this theft or any informationa that may lead to the recovery of this vessel. Chilliwack RCMP File# 2009-25883.
August 15, 2009 - Recovered ZODIAC found by the RCMP Sunshine Coast Detachment
On August 15th 2009 Cst Fran Moreau of the RCMP Sunshine Coast Detachment seized an 8.5ft ZODIAC from the shoreline of Gambier Island. Cst Moreau’s investigation led her to Stolen Boats Canada’s web page where she identified the Zodiac as being stolen from False Creek, Vancouver. The 2004 Yamaha outboard remains outstanding. The investigation is ongoing.
August 13, 2009 - 2003 Zodiac stolen from vessel anchored in False Creek
On 2009-August-13 a 2003 Zodiac (model F8MSHC) was stolen from the vessel "Dream Weaver" while at anchor in False Creek. The stolen zodiac is 8.5 feet, white tubes with grey trim, an inflatable keel and wooden floor boards. No HIN or Serial Number is available at this time. With the zodiac is a Yamaha engine - 2004 model, 4 stroke outboard. Contact CST Graham Webb at the VPD Marine Unit 604-817-1946 if you have any information. The VPD Marine Unit advises that this is the fourth theft of a Caribe from the waters around False Creek in the last two weeks.
August 10, 2009 - Owner of 1992 Caribe located thanks to bulletin by Stolen Boats Canada
Minutes after sending out the request for assistance in identifying the damaged Caribe pictured below, Stolen Boats Canada received information from Pat Haliburton of HUB International and Michelle Zimmerman of Inlet Marine, identifying the owner of the salvaged Caribe. August 7, 2009 - 1992 Caribe Stolen from Burrard Civic Marina
During the first week of August 2009 a 1992 Caribe 9X with Johnson GT10 outboard was stolen from Burrard Civic Marina. The vessel is described as white with grey rub rails and blue grab lines, 2 rectangular patches at bow (1 on port and 1 on starboard side), grey & white cushions on bow box and bench at the stern. The engine is a Johnston GT10 – 10 hp, tiller style outboard. Contact CST Alan Mah or CST Eric Jordan at the VPD Marine Unit 604-817-1946 if you have any information. The VPD Marine Unit advises that this is the third theft of a Caribe from the waters around False Creek in the last two weeks.
August 3, 2009 - 1995 Aquapro located adrift near Bowen Island
On the August long weekend (August 1-3, 2009) the Port Moody Police Department located a vessel adrift near Bowen Island and Hutt Island. Contact Cst Ian Morrison, Port Moody PD (604-461-3456) if you have any information.
July 23, 2009 - 9.9HP Johnson motor stolen in Surrey
The Surrey RCMP are looking for information on a 9.9HP Johnson motor stolen (2001 Model J10RSS, Serial# G 04764966). Contact the Surrey RCMP and quote file number 2009-90809.
July 17, 2009 - Vessel used in theft of furniture from house on Fraser River
On 2009-07-17 between midnight and 4:00am an unknown vessel was used to take almost $19,000 in patio furniture from a home on Deering Island in Vancouver. Any informaiton on a suspicious vessel related to this theft can be forwarded to Constable Caedmon Nash of the Vancouver Police Department.
July 13, 2009 - 2005 Malibu Bow Rider with trailer stolen from Captain's Village Marina in Scotch Creek (near Chase), BC
On 2009-07-13 a 20' 2005 Malibu Bow Rider with EZ Loader trailer was stolen from the Captain's Village Marina in Scotch Creek, BC. July 13, 2009 - 9.9HP Yamaha motor stolen in Coquitlam
The Coquitlam RCMP are looking for information on a 9.9HP Yamaha motor stolen (2001 Model MSHZ, Serial# 172391). Contact the Coquitlam RCMP and quote file number 2009-22558.
July 11, 2009 - 1986 Double Eagle stolen from Canoe Cove Marina in North Saanich
On 2009-07-11 between 4:00pm and 9:30pm a 1986 17' Double Eagle was stolen from the Canoe Cove Marina in North Saanich. Any information on this theft can be forwarded to Constable Anton Ermolaev of the Sidney RCMP.
July 9, 2009 - Chilliwack RCMP request assistance in identifying the owner of a recovered vessel
Constable Lane PENNER of the Chilliwack RCMP is requesting assistance in identifying a vessel, trailer and engine recently seized in the Chilliwack area. The vessel’s paint has been ground off and the HIN plate has been removed. The engine is an older Honda. The vessel’s hull may have previously been green in colour. July 4, 2009 - 2006 Mastercraft X30 stolen from Eldorado Hotel in Kelowna

July 4, 2009 - Laser Pico Sailing Dinghy stolen from Kitsilano Yacht Club
On July 4, 2009 a Laser Pico Sailing dinghy (blue hull only, without the sailing components) was stolen from the Kitsilano Yacht Club just West of Kits Beach. Contact the Vancouver Police Marine Unit (604-817-1946) with any information related to this theft.

July 1, 2009 - 2000 Mastercraft Red Pro Star 190 stolen with trailer from Kaleden
Between June 29 and July 1, 2009 a 20' 2000 Mastercraft Red Pro Star 190 was stolen with matching Mastercraft trailer from Kaleden, BC (South of Penticton). Contact the Penticton RCMP with any information related to this theft.

June 25, 2009 - 1987 Peterborough 17' Centre Console stolen with trailer from South Simcoe Marine
On June 25, 2009 a Peterborough 17' Centre Console with 60hp Mercury engine on an EZ Loader trailer was stolen from the South Simcoe Marine in Bradford, Ontario. A reward is offered for the recovery of this vessel - contact Steve Foster at 416-704-9585.
June 24, 2009 - 2008 Sea Doo Wake on trailer stolen from driveway in Chilliwack
On June 24, 2009 a black/red/white 2008 Sea Doo Wake was stolen from the owner's driveway in Chilliwack. The vessel was on a 2008 silver Karavan trailer. If you have information leading to the recovery of this vesel contact the Chilliwack RCMP or Chris Small Surveyours.
June 21, 2009 - 1994 Campion Chase with trailer stolen from owner's driveway in Mission
On June 21, 2009 a 18' Campion Chase with 185hp Mercury engine on a Highlander trailer was stolen from the owner's driveway in Mission. Contact the Mission RCMP or Chris Small Marine Surveyours if you have any information on this theft.

June 20, 2009 - 2005 Lowe FS165 with trailer stolen from owner's driveway in Maple Ridge
Overnight on June 20, 2009 a 2005 Lowe FS165 with a new 2009 Mercury 90hp outboard was stolen on a 2005 Yacht Club Trailer from the owner's driveway near River Road and 207th Ave in Maple Ridge. Contact the Ridge Meadows RCMP if you have any information on this theft.

June 16, 2009 - Fibreform Voyager stolen with trailer in South Vancouver
On June 15-16, 2009 a 16' Fibreform Voyager with a 70hp Mercury outboard on a red trailer was stolen from South vancouver. Please contact the Vancouver Police Department Marine Squad if you have any information leading to the recovery of this vessel.
June 13, 2009 - Old Town Canoe stolen from Burnaby Sailing Association
On June 13, 2009 an Old Town Guide 147 canoe was stolen from the Burnaby Sailing Association. Contact the Burnaby RCMP if you have any information leading to the recovery of this vessel.

June 13, 2009 - Two Sea Doo RXT stolen with Trailer

May 11, 2009 - 1991 Searay Bowrider with Shorelander trailer taken from owner's driveway in Surrey
Late in the evening of May 10 or early on May 11 a 1991 Sea Ray Bowrider (white with blue trim) on a Shorelander trailer was taken from the owner's driveway in Surrey. Please contact your local RCMP with any information leading the the recovery of this vessel. Reward Offered.

April 28, 2009 - Custom Aluminum Work boat taken from Pitt River Bridge Construction site
The Coquitlam RCMP is investigating the theft of a company boat and motor, docked on shore at the west side of the Pitt River, under KIEWIT's Pitt River Bridge construction site. Vessel was last seen 2009-04-28 at 1700hrs and found missing at 0700hrs on 2009-04-29.
April 28, 2009 - 2002 Baja Outlaw stolen from Coquitlam is recovered on Vancouver Island
On 2009-04-28 information was received that the 2002 Baja Outlaw stolen from Coquitlam BC on March 1st, has been recovered on Vancouver Island. The vessel’s 475 hp Mercruiser, serial number 0M050036 is still outstanding. The RCMP is continuing to investigate the theft and recovery of the vessel.
April 27, 2009 - 2001 Bayliner 2858 stolen from Maple Ridge is recovered in Port Moody
On 2009-04-23 a Theft Alert was issued by Chris Small Marine Surveyors regarding the theft of the Bayliner 2858 pictured below. On April 27th, alert marina staff in Vancouver Harbour spotted the vessel as it headed eastbound. Recognizing the vessel from the Theft Alert bulletin, the marina staff contacted the Vancouver Police Marine Unit who tailed the vessel to Rocky Point Marina in Port Moody where Port Moody Police Department members were waiting. Two males were subsequently taken into custody. Thanks to the actions of the marina staff, the vessel was recovered. The RCMP Ridge Meadows investigation is ongoing.
April 25, 2009 - 2007 Yamaha o/b stolen from diveway in Abbotsford
A 2007 Yamaha T8PLHF (8hp), serial # 1018148 was stolen from a Crestliner parked right beside the owner's house out in Abbotsford. This theft has been reported to the Abbotsford Police Department (file 09-14298) and to Galleon Marine (Langley) who request your assistance in recovering this engine.
April 23, 2009 - 2001 Bayliner 2858 stolen from Maple Ridge

April 21, 2009 - 2004 Princecraft Holiday DLX SC stolen with trailer in Maniwaki, Quebec
Police in Maniwaki Quebec are seeking your assistance in locating a 2004 Princecraft Holiday DLX SC stolen with EZ Loader trailer. The suspect vehicle in this theft is a red Chevrolet Blazer with tinted windows and Ontario plates. Contact the Kitigan Zibi Police Department at 819-449-6000 with any information on this theft.
March 1 , 2009 - 2002 Baja Outlaw 25' stolen with trailer from owner's driveway in Coquitlam
On March 1, 2009 a 25' 2002 Baja OUtlaw with 40hp inboard was stolen with the trailer from the owner's driveway in Coquitlam. A reward is offered for information leading to the recovery of the vessel. Contact Chris Small Marine surveyors (604-681-8825) or you local police department.
March 1 , 2009 - 2005 Titan Inflatable confirmed as stolen and returned to owner
With the assistance of Judy Vollbrecht at Mercury Marine, Fond du Lac, WISCONSIN tracing down the owner of the 9.9 hp kicker, the RCMP Richmond Detachment successfully identified and returned the 2005 Titan 310 Inflatable found adrift in the north arm of the Fraser River on 2009-02-02 (as previously reported on this website). The investigation determined that the tender had been stolen and is alleged to have been used for several vessel break and enters in the area. A male is in custody in connection to the incidents. The investigation is ongoing.

February 24, 2009 - 2005 Bayliner Cierra 285 recovered in Burrard Inlet
On February 24, 2009 Port Moody PD and Vancouver Police Marine Squad converged on a 2005 Bayliner Cierra 285 in Burrard Inlet. Although the HIN had been altered and a new vessel license obtained, police successfully identified the vessel as being stolen from Richmond in 2007. The investigation is ongoing.

February 23, 2009 - 2004 Sea Ray Sundancer 360 recovered
On February 23, 2009 members of the RCMP Ridge Meadows Detachment converged on a wharf on the Fraser River near the Maple Ridge Mission border where they identified and seized the Sea Ray 360 Sundancer previously stolen from the Pitt River area. The investigation is ongoing. This vessel had been posted as a stolen boat on this website.

February 16, 2009 - 2004 Sea Ray Sundancer 360 stolen from Pitt Meadows Marina
On February 16, 2009 this vessel was stolen from the Pitt Meadows Marina in Pitt Meadows, BC. Contact the Ridge Meadows detachement at 604-463-6251 if you have any information regarding this theft.
February 8, 2009 - 2005 Titan Inflatable found on North Arm Fraser River
On February 2, 2009 a 2005 Titan 310 located adrift on the North Arm, Fraser River near Richmond. Contact RCMP Cst Nathalie Cuvele (604-278-1212) if you can offer assistance in identifying the owner of this vessel.
February 3, 2009 - Necky Manitou Sea Kayak recovered
This vessel was found floating in False Creek by the Canadian Coast Guard crew from Kitsilano Base. The vessel had a single rowing paddle aboard (not a kayak paddle), leading police to belive it may be stolen. The VPD Marine Unit are attempting to identify the owner. February 3, 2009 - Aluminum Dinghy "Fletcher Flagship" recovered
This vessel was recovered by the VPD Marine Unit and is believed to have been used in vessel Break and Enters in the Coal Harbour area. This vessel is believed to be stolen and the VPD Marine Unit are attempting to identify the owner. February 1, 2009 - 2003 Bayliner 195BR with trailer recovered in Mission
On February 1, 2009 members from the RCMP Mission Detachment noted a Bayliner that caused them to believe it may be stolen. On further inspection they noted the Hull Identification Number had been removed. The VIN had also been removed off the trailer. Further investigation led members to identify the vessel as a 2003 Bayliner 195BR stolen from Surrey in 2007. The vessel and trailer were seized. The Investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on this vessel is requested to contact Cst Samantha Audley, RCMP Mission Detachment at 604-826-7161.

January 11, 2009 - 1994 14.5 foot Yukon Rigid Inflatable stolen from Aldergrove
