November 30, 2015 - 1999 Regal Sun Bridge Cruiser with trailer stolen from Surrey, BC
On November 29-30 a 28-foot 1999 Regal Sun Bridge Cruiser "Double High C" was stolen from a driverway in the 11100 Block of Partidge Crescent in Surrey, BC. This vessel was on a 2007 Preformance tri-axel trailer. November 25, 2015 - 2001 Necky Sky kayak recovered on Fraser River, Ladner BC - Owner unknown
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is requesting assistance in identifying the owner of a 2001 yellow NECKY “SKY” 8 ft kayak located in the Ladner area of the Fraser River. Please contact Constable Murray Cummins or CRIMESTOPPERS if you can assist with this investigation. File 2015-178657.
November 25, 2015 - 1990 fibreglass Syl Ray recovered - owner unknown
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is requesting assistance in identifying the owner of a 1990 eight foot fibreglass Syl Ray dinghy. The vessel is believed to have been stolen from a cabin in the Howe Sound area and used to transport stolen property from cabin break and enters. November 21, 2015 - 2003 Valco Jet Boat with Karavan trailer stolen from Fort St John, BC
On November 21, 2015 a 20-foot Aluminum Valco Jet Boat with Black Karavan trailer was stolen from Fort St John, BC. November 21, 2015 - Stolen MacGregor Sailboat recovered on Fraser River, Ladner BC - Owner Identified
On November 21st a concerned member of the public observed a suspicious MacGregor sailboat in the Ladner area of the Fraser River. After noting a MacGregor listed on Stolen Boats Canada as being stolen from off Kits Point in September, the caller notified the Vancouver Police Marine Unit. Members attended and secured the vessel. It was determined that all identifying numbers had been removed and the vessel had been concealed with a new name and fraudulent vessel license. An extensive inspection of the vessel enabled investigators to confirm that the vessel recovered in Ladner was the vessel stolen from Vancouver two months earlier. November 21, 2015 - Stolen MacGregor Sailboat recovered on Fraser River, Ladner BC - Owner unknown
On Saturday November 21st, a member of the community of Ladner contacted the VPD Marine Unit regarding a suspicious person with a MacGregor sailboat in the south arm of the Fraser River. After checking Stolen Boats Canada, the caller was concerned the vessel was a MacGregor listed as Stolen from Vancouver. VPD Marine Unit members attended and after an investigation into the operator and vessel, seized the vessel as “Stolen”. Investigators are working on confirming the identification of the vessel. November 17, 2015 - Two Green KIA Ocean Kayaks abandoned at False Creek Yacht Club, Vancouver, BC - Owner unknown
Vancouver Police Marine Unit is requesting assistance in identifying the owner of two green 2007 KIA Ocean Kayaks abandoned at the False Creek Yacht Club November 15th 2015. Please contact Constable Rob Turner if you can assist with this investigation. File 2015-215076
November 16, 2015 - Red 1983 Achilles Inflatable with Honda outboard abandoned in False Creek area of Vancouver, BC - Owner unknown
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit has recovered eight stolen Inflatable tenders over the past 17 days in the False Creek area. The vessels appear to be being used to enter marinas from the water side to commit break and enters to vessels within. Police are attempting to identify a recovered eight foot red 1983 Achilles Inflatable equipped with a 2 hp Honda outboard. Police are also attempting to find the owners of a Nissan 9.8 hp and Honda 5 hp outboard. VPD Marine Unit is recommending boat owners secure their equipment and check on their vessels throughout the off season. November 15, 2015 - 10 Foot Caribe Inflatable lost from vessel in English Bay
On Sunday November 15th 2015 at approximately 1430 hrs, a pleasure craft lost its 10 ft Caribe Inflatable while traveling eastbound through English Bay on approach to the First Narrows. The vessel was last observed while travelling in the area of the “Quebec Bravo” buoy off West Vancouver. November 6, 2015 - 2000 Yamaha Waverunner SUV 1200 with trailer stolen from North Vancouver, BC
After midnight on November 5 a gold and white 2000 Yamaha Waverunner SUV1200 was stolen from and underground parking lot at 4th Street and St Georges Avenue in North Vancouver. This vessel was on a U-Build single axel trailer. November 6, 2015 - Achilles Inflatable with Honda outboard abandoned in False Creek area of Vancouver, BC - Owner unknown
Vancouver Police Marine Unit is requesting assistance in identifying the owner of an Achilles equipped with a Honda outboard that was abandoned at the False Creek Harbour Authority docks at 0200 hours on November 5th 2015. October 30, 2015 - 2007 Mastercraft X-Star with trailer stolen from Penticton, BC
On October 26, 2015 a Black and Orange 22-foot Mastercraft X-Star with matching 2007 Mastercraft trailer was stolen from Penticton, BC. This vessel is equipped with a 400hp Inmar engine. October 28, 2015 - Stolen Aquapro Inflatable and Nissan engine recovered in Vancouver, BC
On October 28th, at 2:30 am, residents of the Spruce Harbour Marina in False Creek, Vancouver, awoke to a male attempting to tow away their 16 ft inflatable equipped with a 60 hp outboard. The suspect fled and abandoned the Aquapro Inflatable he had been operating at Spyglass Dock under the Cambie Street Bridge. Vancouver Police Marine Unit identified the “dumped” vessel as being stolen from Quayside Marina in False Creek on October 27th at 5:30 am. Police are still attempting to identify the owner of a stolen Nissan outboard located in the recovered vessel. October 25, 2015 - Stolen Grady White recovered in Vancouver, BC
On the morning of October 25th, the Vancouver Police Marine Unit recovered a Grady White Sailfish that had been abandoned by the suspect in the Beach Avenue Marina in False Creek at approximately 11:30 pm the previous night. Members identified the vessel as being stolen from Stones Marina in Nanaimo at approximately 5 pm on October 24th. September 29, 2015 - Green Necky "Looksha V" stolen from Deering Island (Fraser River North Arm), Vancouver
Overnight between September 27th and September 28th a green 14-foot Necky "Looksha V" kayak was stolen from a private warf off Deering Island in the North Arm of the Fraser River. September 23, 2015 - 1998 MacGregor 99X sailboat missing from English Bay (Vancouver), BC
Between September 16 and 23, 2015 a 1998 MacGregor 99X sailboat went missing from anchor off Kits Point in English Bay, Vancouver, BC. This 26-foot vessel is white and black in colour with a 50hp Honda Outboard. September 14, 2015 - 2000 Sea Ray 410 Express Cruiser stolen from Kingston, Ontario
Between September 10 and September 13 a 41-foot white 2000 Sea Ray 410 Express Cruiser was stolen from Confederation Basin Marina in Kingston, Ontario. This vessel is named the Arda 'T' IV. September 11, 2015 - 1996 Fourwinns Vista with trailer stolen from Port Coquitlam, BC
Between late August and September 8, 2015 a 1996 Fourwinns Vista 278 with 2008 Ziema tri-axle trailer was stolen from Coast Meridian Road in Port Coquitlam. This vessel is white and blue in colour. September 1, 2015 - 1980's Red Springbok Aluminum boat with U-Build trailer stolen from Abbotsford, BC
On September 1, 2015 a 1980's 14-foot Springbok Aluminum vessel with U-Build trailer (BC Plate USY72J) was stolen from the Abbotsford / Chilliwack area. This vessel is red in colour and has a custom transom riser. It is fitted with a 40hp 2004 Yamaha outboard engine. August 28, 2015 - Lund with Yamaha engine stolen from Belcarra Bay, BC
Between 8:00pm on August 27 and 5:00am on August 28 2015 a 12-foot Aluminum Lund (mid-1990's) was stolen from Belcarra Bay, BC. This vessel was near the public wharf, and is equipped with a 2012 9.9hp Yamaha outboard. Inside the vessel was a blue rubbermaid bin with safety gear and 2 wooden oars. August 25, 2015 - Two stolen Novurania Inflatables located in Squamish, BC
On August 25th, the Vancouver Police Marine Unit received a call from a member of the public reporting that two Novurania Inflatables were “abandoned” on the Mamquam River in Squamish BC. The caller stated that a check of the Stolen Boats Canada web site confirmed that both vessels were currently listed on the site as “STOLEN”. Members from the RCMP Squamish Detachment attended the area and recovered the vessels. The vessels had been stolen from False Creek in Vancouver on August 11th and August 13th. August 25, 2015 - 2015 Four Winns 190ss with trailer stolen from Shipwreck Marine in Fort McMurray, Alberta
In mid-August 2015 a 2015 Four Winns 190ss ski boat was stolen from Shipwreck Marine in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This vessel is red, black and white in colour and is equipped with a 260hp Mercruiser engine and is on a Four Winns trailer. August 22, 2015 - 2014 Sanger V215 stolen from Spruce Grove, Alberta

August 16, 2015 - Kawasaki PWC stolen from Sunset Marina, West Vancouver, BC
On August 16, 2015 at 2:00am a Kawasaki 550 Personal Watercraft was stolen from Sunset Marina in Howe Sound (West Vancouver). A white 18-foot boat was seen to be towing this PWC away. August 10, 2015 - Stolen kayak recovered in Port Coquitlam, BC
The Coquitlam RCMP Rural Section – Marine Operations have identified the Frontier kayak that had been abandoned on the street by two males in Port Coquitlam, as a STOLEN vessel. Two males were seen carrying it at Patricia Avenue and Graham Street in Port Coquitlam, near the Coquitlam River. When they were seen by a cyclist, the males dropped the vessel and ran. August 7, 2015 - 2010 Stabicraft stolen from Stuart Island is recovered
The 2010 STABICRAFT reported stolen from Prevost Harbor on Stuart Island, Washington State, has been recovered in the Stuart Island area. The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office and the vessel owner wish to thank everyone for keeping an eye out for the vessel.

August 6, 2015 - Vessel found drifting in False Creek, Vancouver, BC
On August 6th 2015 at approximately 5:30 am, a citizen cycling along the seawall near Granville Island observed a male clinging to the side of a row boat in the waters of False Creek. The male was rushed to hospital suffering from hypothermia. The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is attempting to identify the owner of the vessel the male was drifting with and are asking the public for assistance. August 3, 2015 - 2000 Malibu 162 Bowrider stolen from a private dock in Duncan, BC
On August 2, 2015 at 10:30pm a 2000 Malibu 162 Bowrider was stolen from a private dock off Salt Spring Road in Genoa Bay, Duncan, BC. This theft was committed by a grey-haired male operating a center console aluminum skiff. The stolen Malibu is cream and burgundy in colour, with "Sparkie" on the port and starboard sides. It is equipped with a 2011 90hp Yamaha outboard. August 3, 2015 - 2005 Current Designs Kayak stolen in Vancouver, BC
On August 2, 2015 between midnight and 1:00am a 19-foot Current Designs Extreme Kayak was stolen from the 300 Block of E 18th Ave. This vessel is Red with a white hull. August 1, 2015 - Theft Alert - Vancouver Region
The Vancouver Police Marine Unit is advising boaters of the occurrence of numerous thefts of tenders and outboards over the past 2 weeks (July 15-31 2015). Police have recovered five stolen vessels thus far. The suspects were able to successfully make off with a 30 hp Evinrude from one of the vessels. Currently these thefts are occurring in False Creek and Vancouver Harbour. VPD Marine Unit is requesting marinas, boat owners and sailing clubs review security practises for the securing of tenders and to report any suspicious persons, thefts, attempted thefts or abandoned vessels immediately.
August 1, 2015 - Aquamarine Inflatable found near Pitt River - Ridge Meadows, BC
The RCMP Ridge Meadows Detachment is looking for assistance in identifying an 8 foot gray Aquamarine Inflatable with a 12 hp Haswing outboard recovered off the McQuarrie Road area of the Pitt River (Between Port Coquitlam and Pitt Meadows). July 30, 2015 - 2004 Chaparral 236 Sun stolen in West Vernon, BC
Between July 24 and July 29 2015 a black and white Chaparral 236 Sun with black Shorelander trailer was stolen from West Vernon, BC. The vessel is named "Positively Buoyant" and is equipped with a 280hp Volvo engine. July 23, 2015 - 2001 Campion Chase stolen in Port Coquitlam is recovered and man charged
The Coquitlam RCMP Rural Policing Section has recovered the 2001 Campion Chase stolen from Port Coquitlam on July 2nd 2015. Following an extensive investigation, members located the vessel and are recommending charges against a male in conjunction with the incident.

July 23, 2015 - 2008 Sea Doo 230 Wake recovered by Lloydminster RCMP and Edmonton Police
Members of the RCMP Lloydminster Detachment and RCMP Auto Theft North-K Division investigators out of Edmonton, teamed up to successfully identify a 2008 Sea Doo 230 Wake that had been stolen from the Lloydminster Alberta area. Stolen Boats Canada is reminding boat owners to carefully record the Hull Identification Number, engine numbers and maintain current photos of your vessel to assist investigators in case of a theft. We also recommend considering a GPS Tracking systems and to secure your boat and trailer at all times.
July 20, 2015 - 2008 Pelican Storm stolen from Vancouver, BC
Between July 17 and 19, 2015 a 2008 Pelican Storm kayak was stolen from the 1700 block of West 10th Ave in Vancouver. This 14-foot kayak has a mango coloured upper with white hull. July 10, 2015 - 2011 SeaDoo GTS 2-seater stolen in Kelowna, BC
Overnight on July 9-10 2015 a red and white 2-seat 2011 Sea Doo was stolen from a wharf on Okanagan Lake in Kelowna BC. July 3, 2015 - Z-Ray II-300 Inflatable found on Okanagan Lake - Kelowna, BC
Constable Ryan Smith of the RCMP Kelowna Detachment is looking for assistance in identifying the owner of a 9' “Z Ray II-300” Inflatable, HIN CN-JILK0053C108, recovered on July 3rd 2015 washed up on the shore, semi deflated, south of Rattle Snake Island on Okanagan Lake. June 18, 2015 - 2008 Bayliner with trailer stolen in Edmonton, Alberta
On June 18 2015 a black and white 2008 Bayliner 185BR with grey Karavan trailer was stolen from the 11700 Block of 160th Street in Edmonton Alberta. The trailer is marked with "Matchett Transport" on the axel, and the engine is a remanufactured TBC 4.3L. June 16, 2015 - 2007 Mastercraft stolen in Vernon recovered by Edmonton Police
On June 16th 2015, RCMP Auto Theft North-K Division in Edmonton Alberta, identified a vessel believed to be stolen, as a 2007 Mastercraft that had been taken from a compound in Vernon BC in 2009. The investigation is ongoing. If you can assist with this file, please contact Constable Ken Horwood.
June 14, 2015 - 2006 Sea Doo RXT with trailer stolen in Campbell River, BC
On June 13 2015 a black and orange 2006 Sea Doo RXT with grey Karavan trailer was stolen from McPhedran Road in Cambell River. June 9, 2015 - 1988 Alicat Aluminum Dory with trailer stolen in Richmond, BC
In early June 2015 a 20-foot AliCat welded aluminum traditional dory was stolen from Richmond, BC. This vessel is equipped with a Yamaha outboard, and is on a 1987 Allspeed Aluminum trailer. May 31, 2015 - 2011 Malibu Wakesetter with trailer stolen from Sorrento, BC
On May 31 2015 a 21-foot 2011 Malibu Wakesetter with trailer was stolen from Sorrento, BC. This vessel is blue, black and white in colour, and is equipped with an Indmar engine. May 25, 2015 - Vanguard Baretta with EZ Loader trailer stolen from Edmonton, Alberta
Overnight on May 24-25 2015 a 16 foot Vanguard Baretta with EZ Loader trailer was stolen form the 9000 Block of 67th Ave, Edmonton. This vessel is white, blue and pink and is equipped with a 1989 110hp Johnson outboard. May 4, 2015 - Duckworth Pro with Trailer stolen from Fort St John, BC
On May 4 2015 an 18 foot aluminum Duckworth Pro 302 with trailer was stolen from Fort St John, BC. The vessel was last seen Eastbound on the Alaska Highway. May 2, 2015 - 2006 Monterrey with trailer stolen from Langley, BC
On May 2 2015 a 25-foot 2006 Monterrey on a tandem dual axle trailer was stolen from Langley, BC. This vessel is off-white with a black canvas top, and is equipped with a Volvo engine. April 12, 2015 - 2008 Wooldridge with EZ Loader trailer stolen from locked garage in Harrison, BC
On April 12 2015 a 17-foot black aluminum 2008 Wooldridge with 75hp Honda o/b and an EZ-Loader trailer was stolen form a locked garage in Harrison, BC. April 12, 2015 - Suspicious males at Richmond Marinas
Between Saturday night and Sunday morning, April 11th and 12th, two males utilizing an inflatable West Marine kayak and an 8’ plywood skiff were interrupted at Vancouver Marina prowling the area. The suspects fled by water and abandoned both vessels at the top end of Duck Island where they fled on foot with a large bag. A large pair of bolt cutters was left behind in the skiff. Over the weekend, an array of tools was stolen from the Pacific Gateway Hotel Marina (from the water side) – the two incidents may be related. Please review the photos of the males involved. April 8, 2015 - 2014 Ab Inflatable recovered by Vancouver Police with suspect in custody
On April 8th 2015 at 0600 hrs, a jogger on the seawall in False Creek observed a male in a inflatable checking out other tenders tied up under the Cambie Street Bridge. The jogger immediately contacted the Vancouver Police. Patrol units set up on the bridges in the area in an attempt to observe the suspicious vessel while the VPD Marine units moved into the area. After a brief search of the area between the Granville Street Bridge and the Cambie Bridge, marine units located the male off loading property onto the seawall from a 2014 AB Inflatable. The male was taken into custody. The vessel was immediately identified as stolen from a vessel anchored in False Creek.

April 7, 2015 - Stolen Vessel recovered through use of satellite tracking ATLASTRAX
On April 7th 2015, ATLASTRAX assisted in the recovery of a vessel that was stolen at 0045 hrs from Marsh Harbour, Abaco Islands, Bahamas. The suspects were unaware that their every move was being tracked by ATLASTRAX. ATLASTRAX made a live link for the owner and law enforcement and helped feed information to authorities as the satellites sent updates to the server. The suspects abandoned the vessel in shallow water and ran into the woods. No damage was done to the vessel. ATLASTRAX was able to assist with point to point latitude and longitude locations as the suspects moved the vessel. The vessel was back in the hands of the owners the same evening. After 100 miles and almost 13 hours at an average speed of 8.8 mph, ATLASTRAX was able to provide constant updates of latitude and longitudes to pinpoint and aid the owner, the US Coast Guard and Bahamian Authorities to recover the vessel. April 6, 2015 - 2011 Defender 470 Rescue Inflatable with Evinrude stolen from Steveston, BC
Between April 3 and April 6, 2015 a 15-foot black 2001 Defender 470 Rescue Inflatable with Evinrude outboard motor and Karavan trailer were stolen from the Steveston/Delta area. March 6, 2015 - 2011 Klamath stolen from Vancouver, BC is recovered in Surrey - engine still missing
On March 6th 2015, it was discovered that a 2011 16 foot Klamath equipped with a Yamaha 40 hp Outboard Jet drive had been stolen overnight from a compound near the south end of Granville Street in Vancouver. The vessel was recovered abandoned near Lien Road and 124th in Surrey, The engine and controls had been stripped from the vessel. February 16, 2015 - 2006 Boreal Ellesmere kayak stolen from underground parkade in Vancouver, BC
Between February 12, 2015 and February 15, 2015 a white 2006 Boreal Ellesmere kayak was stolen from an underground parkade on Adanac Street in Vancouver. January 8, 2015 - Seamax Oean 320 Inflatable stolen from Storage in Kamloops, BC
Between December 5, 2014 and January 8, 2015 a white and Grey Seamax Ocean 320 Inflatable was stolen in Hinton, Alberta. The suspect(s) left behind the aluminum floor. The (deflated) boat and airmat floor were rolled and kept in a white carrying bag, along with a pair of transom wheels and oars. Accessories such as digital electric pump and an under seat storage bag containing safety gear was also stolen. The vessel is equipped with a Minn Kota Endura C2 50Lbs trolling motor and Motomaster Nautilus AGM battery (Serial Number 9289055).
